Hi Epic fellows!

You certainly remember my Squat army delivered in august... Now it's time to enjoy the fortress they defend!

I have the impression to repeat myself, but it's certainly my best Epic project so far.

I really really admire the interior tunnel details in your Squat HQ and the overall squat-ish look....

Seeing such beautiful squat terrain and minis I really regret I have sold my squats a year ago  :(

I've already dribbled on about this at the SG site but it is worth repeating. Truly exceptional.

It is so good that I am even convinced that some squats must have escaped the terrible tyranid event, and that they deserve to have a more prominent place in the epic universe!! (Gasp! - I can see Mojarn, L4, Dwarf Supreme and others dying of shock that I said that...   :p  ).

Your creativity and attention to detail are phenomenal, Kotrin!  Nice work!  Tell your friends that if they don't hear from you, you've been kidnapped and are being held in this guy's basement in America, chained to a modeller's workbench.

Well, I guess someone choosing 6mm scale must have some tendency to take care of details. :)

I'm really moved by all the support received so far - thanks to all. Well, I could not expect less from Tactical Wargames crew, but I hope this scenery will inspire other players into (re)discovering Squats, no matter the scale. Heck, if even Markconz is changing his mind...

I'm not sure on the other hand that creating such a scenery was quite a challenge. Some work for sure, but nothing groundbreaking: just adding tech stuff and rocks until the whole looked Squat enough :) It's not like I sculpted some miniatures or painted anything to Golden Demon standard. The scenery might appear less impressive in the real world, it's not that big after all. But that's the beauty of Epic scale: give the impression of MASSIVE things.

And for becoming a scenery slave, forced to work all day to create scenery... Well, I might even like it! But I doubt you have enough money for all the bitz it would cost you ;)
