Just fantastic!  I particualrly like the circular ruin and the water effects

I like the nice balance you have made between a diorama and the ability to use it for gaming

Guess what else was on my New years resoluiton for this year that didnt get done....

Very beautiful!

Its all great, but isnt it kind of hard to make peices that "go with it"? Since the board is different heights at different levels?

Thanks guys.

In a way yes but I've tried to disguise some of the level changes. Also my other cityfight pieces have various levels so when it all gets together it should look alright. This means that my canal pieces are somewhere in between the center piece and the rest of my rivers height wise so you get a smoother transition . Same thing applies to the rest: The roads are sloped to fit the rest of my roads etc. etc.  It takes a bit of planning but I so wanted to do something with more levels than if I just glued the ruins directly on a piece of MDF board. "Flatness" is one of the downsides of tabletop terrain compared to modular terrain boards IMO.

I still haven't used all of it in a game though as I still need to paint up a few more pieces (another New Year's resolution :D  ) but when I do I'll make sure to post some pics. It should be quite a sight. I was thinking a Stalingrad (well Nicengrad :p  ) style game with mostly infantry, a bit or artillery and only a few AFVs. Should be fun. To begin with it will just be used as a backdrop for some more pics for the Lounge.

Cheers! :)
