I used sandpaper. Pics in plog. They look good with paint.

I guess rub (sandpaper, rub! [bada bump]) is if you're building roads as opposed to painting other kits like say GZM roads

Thanks for the responses. Do you guys do anything to the sand paper I was thinking of coating it in a glue water solution, both for durability and removing some of the roughness but maintaining the texture.

Not yet. Just paint. With base coat and a few layers plus varnish, I feel it should do...

I use painters masking tape. It doesn't have as much texture as sandpaper but in 6mm I think thatsok. I can get it locally in rolls 50mm wide so it is useful for building bases.

These arent Epic building but it will give you an idea

I haven't tried it yet, but GameCraft recommend autoprimer sprayed further away than normal. It'll dry a little before it hits and create a rougher finish.
