So here is the gun pit, after I Textured it ,
and in the last photo you can see it painted up, I just did a grey spray primer and then a dark tone wash
( which is essentially a black ink) then dry brushed a layer of Administratum grey on it.
For now its done. I might try and flock the base later with green and yellow foliage.
PS. the craft foam I use on the bottom is to prevent it from sliding on the game board,
when placing or removing Epic Models from the gun pit.
;D

OK so i can't turn my brain off ! Every were I look my brain says that could be
a piece of epic terrain! case in point ! I save some OJ lids cus they look like a Roman column
with archways, kind of like a Gothic column. :D

not sure if this kind of thing is interesting to any one? but I will work it in to my city terrain
some how!

Hey all. after playing a lot of other games the last year or so I decided to put them on the shelf and just focus one my first Love Epic 30k / 40k and one of the things I am doing is updating my terrain. I have been inspired by a lot of you other epic fans out there making awesome terrain! face book epic fan pages have where I go read about what you guys are up too But its more of a quick epic fix as I am thinking of epic I'll open fb and just see what others are up to. but I do miss the Taccom site I will try to be more active and share in the Taccom community. :D
I am finally making the switch to Net Epic , Net EA is good, ... but I feel it limits the flavor of the GW epic universe, especially ork vehicles get generalized into battle wagon and gun wagon. any way I finished the first Project I started on this thread the Adeptus Mechanicus factory, here is the finale tweaks i made before I finished it!
so I have a bunch of other stuff I am building I may post if any one is interested ? any way thanks for checking back on this page if your reading this, I do feel bad when I post things and not post the finished results. so I will try harder to do full projects from start to finish in the future . :) thx

it may get some more detail like battle scorch marks rust and purity seals around the doors.

I'm interested, very nice idea that, don't think I consume anything with lids that pattern, but good place to look

Hey Justiniel , I am not sure if they have it in your area I assume your in Kilinkeyvin in Wicklow? they may have Tropicana in London as I have seen American brands in the world food section of Tesco's also London has Whole Foods Market on Kensington High St, you might find it there, but that might be a problem unless you happen to be visiting London! if you need a few you can PM me in the taccom Messenger , I could mail some to you from London next week! ps the lids in the photo are the smaller lids there are the family size jugs that have even bigger lids there almost twice as big as those. let me know before Thursday of this week. also I can get them all the time where I live so its no big thing I can get more for my self after I get back from my trip to London. :D any way let me know.

Great looking stuff! I would apply some shading (e.g. dark brown pinwash) to the red to really make the paintwork pop.

I've seen those lids used as Elf buildings for Warmaster.
