@ Mattman: The original ones were 15 x 15, and I found exactly what you say, just a bit too small. However you could make all sorts of different combos with them. I haven't looked too much at what others are offering to be honest, else I may get distracted trying to make mine comparable to them. While I say the new tiles are 20 x 20, in fact it is a 20 x 20cm baseboard with the clip system, and on top of that you stick down the different pavement/road tiles however you see fit. This means I could easily do a 30 x 30cm baseboard and the same tiles can stick to it. Thanks for the input!

@Stu: When I can finally make it over to Bristol for one of your gaming nights I'll bring a few to try out?

@DasBilligeAlien: Thanks for the info, I'll work off that.

That would be great. I look forward to it.

Thought it was about time I shared a bit more progress I have been making with the designs for my city tiles and modular buildings. My current laser machine isn't big enough to create the 30x30cm tiles I want to mount the pavement and roads on to, so it is currently laid out on a cheese platter...

More close ups. The buildings have a variety of different buttresses available. I only had time to cut out a couple of them today. There are also a number of different facades to choose from.

The buildings can have additional outbuildings attached to the side or on top of each other.

The buildings have removable roofs and if desired, removable inner floors. This design also means most buildings are stackable.

Pavement details. I'm not sure which drain style to use yet and if the pavements are too 'bricky'. The raised rectangular boxes are supposed to be garden boxes to put bushes / trees in.

Fabulous sir really wonderfully done.

Can the buildings be used without your roads/pavement system for those of use who have already invested in terrain from other sources?

Fabulous stuff. I really enjoy the beautiful design here. The tile is every bit as good looking as the centerpiece building.

Thanks all! Much appreciated.

@moredakka - indeed, they are free standing but I will create optional bases for them. You can kind of see this on the second picture down in the second post full of photos.
