http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catal ... prod730814 Spotted the above and think it looks smart. Anyone know of something similar for 6mm? I would use this but the small hills would look like mountains! Or has anyone used it? |

I do know that plenty of people have used the various board sections to play EA on. Too pricey for my tastes but with minor tweaks she should work fine |

You could use it ... the hill size really does not matter ... I'd replace the sturctures with GW Epic ruins/structures you can find on eBay or from an number of other 6mm companies ... |

I have a heap of buildings, it was more the game table modular design I liked. I will stick with a good old bit of green felt with books under it to start I think ![]() |

Think the Ziterdes ones are made of some sort of formed foam, so not sure how much battering they would take, plus they are not quite 2ft square (23.5" apparently). Would be fine if you have a table you can leave them on other wise you would need something to carry them in, which is the bonus you get with the GW battleboard. If you don't like the hills on the battleboard then you could pick up some more of the flat surfaces and just add your own hills. The tablescapes from Secret Miniatures look nice and there has been talk of making a 6-10mm scale set in the future. You could also check out the preprinted city from Hawk Wargames. Comes with colour buildings you make yourself and enough city tiles to make a 6ft by 4ft board. |

I saw these http://terrainmat.com/ And thought they looked not bad. Just a coloured bit of cloth but fine for a starting point. |
