I'm just preparing to bring those buildings to my website. And I'm pulling my hair out over some Javascript incompatibility issues - I could put all those browser developers ... Just to calm down I decided to show some of the buildings to get some feedback. If they are bad, I just can stop worrying about incompatibilities and spare those browser developers whatever they deserve. The pictures are from my prototypes. The final pattern is that of the dark buildings. You can vary it via Printer Dialog or an image editing software, but the dark one is the "out of the box" color scheme. Also those building have seen heavy use, aren't based and some parts and especially the composite buildings are not glued together. This is the excuse for some of the gaps and rakish angles. While my Space Marines look better in pictures than in real life it's just the opposite with the buildings. There are two basic shapes rectangular and octagonal. There are some parameters you can change, like the size, the roof type, buttresses or columns, which give you millions of possible combinations, the picture shows some. ![]() The nice thing is that you can combine the buildings to composite buildings, which could look like ![]() or ![]() And of course you could just build a city by piling them up, which is also known as hive city ![]() ![]() Regards Stephan |

Still looking forward to these. Easy, portable terrain is ideal for the setup I'll be looking at soon. |

Angel_of_Caliban wrote: Oh those are Paper? Sorry, to disappoint you, but yes they are paper. The software to configure the buildings is finished and has got it's web-frontend. What's missing is the how-to. This afternoon I will take a video of the "building process". And if this is clear enough, I'll edit the video and finish the webpages in the next days. If it is not clear enough - parts to small and fingers to big - I will try to do an animation. Best regards Stephan |

Finally ... I put a website up at http://www.brumbaer.de/Epic/Buildings/index.html. There is a link to a video on the tips page. The video is still uploading and it will take some hours until finished. So if you need that additional help, please wait6 until tomorrow. If there are any problems mail me under brumbaer@brumbaer.de I'm a Mac User, so testing under Windows and Linux is sparse. Regards SH |

Enabled printing directly from the browser. This makes live for users a lot easier. Don't know why I didn't do this in the first place. |
