In 2011 Gateshead Gaming released a range of 6mm scale Gothic terrain buildings; suitable for Epic 40K, Mech Warrior, Battletech and Graviton etc. We have in March 2012 expanded the range greatly under the name of “The Epic City Builder System”. Why system? Because we have made our buildings modular so you can use as a single building but you can also stack or place side by side to make new and different buildings for your battlefield, like Lego you could say.
Following feedback from customers our latest 2012 buildings include battle damaged, blown up or just totally ruined... you get the idea. Customers who have bought them so far are saying they make a welcome addition to their cityscape. Within the latest release is a Clock Tower, which is my personal favourite. It’s a 4 piece kit where all of the parts can also then be used on other buildings, because of the modular nature of our system. If you don’t want a clock on your clock face you can put Imperator guns or some of our own gun casting on them to make it a defensible position. The idea for this one came from the English Houses of Parliament; so if you add one or more of our Accommodation or Factory buildings to the Clock Tower you have quite a ministerial looking building. Buildings are cast in resin, which means they can better withstand riggers of the battlefield, however we will be producing them in Fine Cast Plaster very soon for those of you General’s with a less full war chest and need to battle on a budget.
