Post subject:  office blocks and storage trays

Just had a thought while reading some of the excellent city planning projects on here.

Could you use a foam block as a faceless Ministorium hab block
AND
as a storage tray (or set of) for when you are not playing?

Probably. You could even go one further and make a hab block facade with storage trays that fit in it. It'd have to be pretty large to be worthwhile, though. 6"x6"x2" is probably the minimum.

It was the way you have recessed square windows.

I'd probably also model them a little on the commie buildings here - deep balcony instead of corridors, that sort of thing.
Put it on it's side, and you've got a storage tray.

might give it a go. now, if Only I had some stuff to store...
