Post subject:  Show me your Drop Roks

I have started to put together some Drop Roks. But I kinda need some inspiration. Search didn't bring up anything.

So show me how you have build your Drop Roks.

I'll post pictures of my first Rok when it is done. But it is basically a styrofoamball with whopping big engines and some other gubbins attached and a hatch for the Boyz to pour out off. In a huge crater!

Edit: Ups perhaps this ought to be in painting and not terrain.

I made 3 drop roks some years ago. They're fairly simple: Just a lump of polystyrene foam with various bits and bobs glued on. Add at least one thing that resembles some kind of door. Cover the rocky bits with textured paint or sand. Stick it onto an old CD, add a bit of putty and pebbles to the base for the impact crater and then paint everything. Fairly quick and simple to do, and a fun way to use some of those impossible leftovers in your bits box ;)

Nop, have thought about it, but not done it. Ditto Drop Kans.

I was going to add bits of broken rockets and thrusters and maybe have the whole thing smashed open from impact, with orks pouring out.
