Well, my thinking is that I can make the parts available on shapeways for people who don't want to wait.

Also, the building parts might be suitable for the cheaper/lower resolution print process. If that's the case then they shouldn't be that much more expensive than it would be if I made them in resin.

Why not just do a sprue - seperate the three parts by a couple of small, easy to cut tabs.
Voila, one part and $10 saved.

Unfortunately, as the snapped rope said, "I'm afraid not."

I've been working on finally getting my space elf objective structures ready to cast, and that has taken longer than anticipated due to scope creep. Still, the first batch of those is nearly ready to go to the bronzer. I'm just waiting on a sanity check from a few people.

As for the buildings, my plan is still to make a few reversable panels and make them available via shape ways at first, until I can figure out a better production method.

Cool they're great! I'm looking forward to when they'll be finished.

I haven't worked on this much, having spent most of my time working on the xenos objectives, but I have been mulling over some details in my mind.

The current plan is to have double-sided facades, along with parts that serve as both rooflines or footings depending on the side that is facing out. That should cut down on the number of part necessary.

Also, I've pretty much decided to go with a shapeways storefront to distribute them. I'll have to ditch any IP details, but those are minor anyway.

Anyway, sorry, but nothing of any real interest to report.

Great to hear that your still thinking about them though! Looking forward to them.

And by the way those xenos objectives are ace!

Any update on these? These would be perfect to add to our gaming table when we do the huge mega-battle showcase in december on the Hungarian "games day" (not a GW event)
