Hey folks

I know this is my third terrain post in as many days but god darn it I'm inspired!

[Sorry guys, for some reason I can't get a direct URL to the 6mm terrain page.  If you click  '6mm scale resin scenery and buildings' link at top left of the page you'll go straight to it.]

Daemonscape Terrain

Has anyone bought anything from these guys? It seems of great quality, and the craters and rocky bits in particular would really 'set off' an ordinary piece and make it that bit more special. The craters or rocky outcrops would embellish any hill I think and give it that lived in look most terrain needs.

The bunkers and barricades don't look termendously Imperial, but a few brass aquilla and maybe some replacement doors here and there and the'd look awesome.  Just need to base a few up and you're done! Added bonus: you can order them either as brand new, lightly or heavily damaged.

As you guys may have seen I'm particularly keen to get some great 6mm craters atm, but I think the top left bundle pack contains a ton of quality stuff that could easily be scattered across a whole board and really bring some stuff to life.  I'm planning on three or four simple hills (prob from a wire cutter and some polysterene) and those craters and rocky bits would be great additions.  The bunkers and barricades could easily be left separate and unbased to create some new layouts every game.

Not that jazzed by the buildings, but they're certainly not bad, just not very 40K.

What do you esteemed chaps think?

PS-woah this post is intense, I don't work for them I promise.  I recently started a Marketing job and it may be getting to me.

I bought some craters, trenches and bunkers from them and am very pleased with all of it (action shots here, here and here). The craters and rock formations have very good detail, almost too much since they make a lot of the rest of my terrain look very plain! They are a little brittle around the edges though, you may want to mount them on MDF or similar to avoid breakage.

Daemonscape seems to be run by a husband and wife team, I received very good customer service when I bought from them. They're good people.

Hey folks

Bit of an update.

I've bought some of their terrain and it looks pretty great! I've attached a picture of what I bought. I bought the 'Terrain Mega Set' at the end of the second shop page, as well as two sets of the small craters (they only used to be available as part of the mega set but I asked nicely and the option to buy four small is now a permanent addition I think).

All the rocky bits on the left are the 'rubble piles' as well as in the mega set, and then the large craters on the bottom and the medium ones above, and then the two sets of small craters at the top.  All this for £18 GBP including postage, which I reckon is pretty good.  The large craters are perhaps a bit big for Epic, but by putting one of the small craters in the middle of the impact you can make what looks a bit like a multiple impact bombardment or something, so they're definitely usable.

Hoping to start making the terrain soon and I might start a log for all my terrain makings.

That's not difficult : black undercoat, metal drybrush and then a light brown drybrush for rust. :)

Thanks for the feedback on these...I've seen these around but was hesitant to buy. Beacuase your buying experience was so good I think I'll give 'em a try! They seem reasonably priced for all you get and FW stopped making the defence line before I could get enough to make a fortified landing pad area!

Very Cool!

Sorry I didn't see this thread before.

I bought two sets of trench lines from them, and they threw in some extra pieces for free as it was almost Christmas (last year) !

I received my order and was pleased both with their customer support, the shipping time and especially the quality of the recevied product.
And the price is extremely affordable imo for first class epic terrain.

I received a bunch of terrain from them.  I will have a review up on the website either tonight or tomorrow.
