Hi Since I am a bit scarce on terrain I decided that I would need a few Epic scale hills. So, which type of hill is best suited in your opinion? Layerd hills, or a more organic form? And how high should one layer be (5mm, 10mm)? If you have any other advice (sizes, form, etc.), feel free to post ![]() Thanks |

I use just sloping hills, not terraced, like you see in some boards. I use GEO Hex ... and a few other companies. I like the hills to look like RL with contours, sloping rises, draws, saddles, etc.. They can be as tall as you want, but IMO, unless you have some cliffs/escarpments here & there (and I do), they should have contours not terraces ... unless you want to add some terraced land for farming and such. |

Yeah I prefer sloped hills too. I had some steppe hills but got a mate to make me some new contoured ones. http://epic40k.googlepages.com/scenery ![]() |

I prefer contoured as well. Just keep the slope reasonable so you can park tall minis like titans on them without tipping over. |
