Hi!

I built a 6'x 4' table a while ago.

Actually i wanted to add more stuff, like water in the canyon and more flock.
Found out it is not really playable, because of too much terrain.
Well and next time i'm going to do the grass differently...

but that's about as big as i can offer  :p

cheers,

My single largest piece of terrain is part of my City terrain system. Basically I wanted to create the layered effect made possible with modular boards without actually having to build an enture modular board. To do this the piece needed to be about 60x60 cm so I could raise the terrain to a certain level without it looking like everything was made on a hill.

WN, you are amazing.  I love the stuff you've done.  I also feel humbled and intimidated by it, but, hey, when one basks in the light of greatness, one must expect a bit of a sunburn.

You're much too kind. Just remember that I usually "forget" to photograph the angles from where the stuff doesn't look so good :D
Still, if my junk inspires someone to do some cool stuff of their own I guess it has been worth it  :;):

That board looks fine to me. I'd definitely play on it.

Great stuff Killerloop. I was wondering: The red/white comms tower to the left: Is that the Old Crow tower? Or where did you get that model?

That Old Crow stuff is so nice.  A good futuristic look, and great quality.

Hi

Some great boards shown - getting a bit nostalgic!

Friend of mine used to carve out set terrain pieces out of some blue poly foam stuff. (Then plastered over with something to 'fix' it before painting). Enjoyed playing on an 8'x4' alien rocky terrain.

Myself, Ive just got some TSS terrain with some hills, gullies & couple marshes/lakes. All make up a 6'x5' board. Filled it with some old Snapdragon resin models of bunkers etc. Unfortunately dont have the space to set it all up in my new flat. Do miss those large (12,000pt) armies...

Cheers
Paul H
