They look great. Had you thought about doing tiles with road terminations ? Turning circle/hammerhead/entrance to underground parking...?

Mate,

Sorry if I have missed this, what are the dimensions of the tiles? What are you looking at for cost, set make up and the like.

Cheers
Aaron

Hi Aaron,

Cheers mate, I was looking at £2 a tile. The dimensions are 100mm x 100mm square, 5mm thick at footway level and 3mm thick at road level.

set wise would be something like 4x straight tiles, 4x Paved, 2x 'T', 2x X-roads, 2x bends and would probably £25 for the set.

I have a few ideas for a few more tiles in the near future to compliment these. :)

Cheers mate. They are available now :P However I'm ditching the online shop as there has been little interest through it. I'm mostly contacted via email ,pm or Facebook for orders, so wasting money every month on the web shop.

Its been a while since I had any time to sit down and work on anything, what with work, injuries and family :)

So thought I'd knock up a few pieces I've had drawings sitting around for a while.

These are completely different from rest of stuff I've done - no Gothic Arches or buttresses in sight anywhere :)

There are a couple of hab buildings and a large factory/workshop all with vents and pressure doors for those nasty alien environments.

I'll be doing a series of smaller buildings to tie in with these. They are all fairly basic with etched detail, so you can customize them to your hearts delight. All are solid cast pieces, however I may do the larger pieces in kit form sometime in the future if the demand is there for them.

As usual, sorry for the rush job crappy cam phone photos and basic undercoat paint job :)

Well, its been a while and after quite a few requests for bits and pieces, I've now stated my own range of HDF (better than MDF :) ) multi-part kits. These kits are cut from 3mm HDF which is more sturdy than the usual 2mm stuff. They purposefully have very little detail so they can be easily customized to suit your own needs with a little plasticard or card and odds and ends from bits box.

This is the first batch of designs. There will be a ruined version of these building in January, along with another series without buttresses. I've also opted not to go down the Gothic Arch style :)

All of these kits will be (and are) compatible with the current resin pieces I have.

Dimensions are all approx. (w) x (h) x (l) and in mm.

Small tower - 50 x 50 70
Tall tower - 50 x 50 x 110
Small Admin/Hab block - 50 x 90 x 70
Large Admin/Hab block - 50 x 90 x 110

I forgot to mention that some very large pieces have also been designed, one of which should be up on here monday/tuesday depending on the time I get to spend at the cutter.

I'll also have a few shots of these kits easily customized with bits of plasticard up next week too.

hehehe :) aye, seems so, cheers mate :). Its like a big toy, and can make some very pretty patterns in wood and plastic!

I still like resin, but people seem to love laser cut wood. Maybe its the smell of the cut wood? :)
