Ahhh, then you'll like the Arbites Precinct/Guild Prefect HQ I'm going to make in the next couple of months, Tom... :blues: :;):

If you want to feature this in an article of Incoming,! I could detail the construction & painting of it, and do a little spiel about the Partipation game I'll be using it in to go with it...  :confuse:

Today I filled in those gaps that annoyed me - so tomorrow it's on to priming!  Huzzah!  :D

Now that sounds awesome!

Regarding Incoming! that sounds perfect, a list of parts used and where you got them from would also be pretty groovy.

it looks really nice. will you base it or leave it freestanding? I think you should base it as  I think it looks better.

Question is, can I get it done in the 3 1/2 weeks before our launch event?

The Klingons have a proverb: "A running man can drybrush a thousand miniatures in a single night".

I think I may have misquoted it, though.

Was that 'Khazka throkk'hazda doq kant hamsin klash'?
It means  - 'A Klingon running through a herd of throkk'hazda (Klingon camels) can pluck a hair off each one to bind in a great drybrush which he can then use to vanquish his foes or drybrush a thousand miniatures in a single night to gain entry to Sto Vo Kor'

Good luck with the camels FS :)  :p

@ Widgren: it'll be free standing, as it's to fit in the middle of three modular defence line pieces.

@ Otterman & Vanvlak: we'd better check with L-4 for the accuracy of these translations :;):

The Fortress was primed today, so painting will commence tomorrow. ?Joy of unbounded joy.

Why is it more fun to build stuff, than to paint it? :( ? It should be the other way round, 'cause then I wouldn't have about 20 armies I need to finish :confuse:

Pics to come as painting gets underway! :)

Okay! ?Painting has commenced on the Fortress. ?Here it is so far...

???

erm, hang on a minute...

Okay, okay, I confess, painting on the fortress has ground to a halt: I got as far as drybrushing and inkwashing to get the main colour, and painting tin bits on the metal parts... and it's stayed like that for over 10 days now. ?I will continue on it, later this week and over the weekend!

In the meantime, enjoy that Epic ruin, of which I have plenty to more paint before our opening weekend... ?:confuse:
