How big is the hangar door? Can it actually get a reasonably sized flier through it?

I've updated the store with a few measurements. The Hangar is more a garage/workshop really. The door way is 35mm wide by 14mm high, so not very big for flyers....more for ground vehicles.

Cool.
Some proper big hangars might go well with the landing pads, could get a full airfield going.

Thought I'd post some pics of my BD collection to date! This excludes the defences and the Orky buildings.

Yep Elsmore, I know from an aesthetic point of view that flat rooved buildings may not be as pleasing, but for Epic gameplay it's perfect. I don't enjoy using buidlings where you end up spending a lot of time trying to balance stands on top. I have to say that I couldn't ask for more, the buildings are worlds better than the old AT/SM/TL ones and they are made to accomodate the game! Oh, and did I mention that the prices are more than reasonable? ;D

Mental note: Time to buy shares in BD... ;D

I will definitely be buying some of these when I switch from army buying to terrain buying mode in a few weeks! They look really awesome all laid out together like that!

Well, I thought I would update the page as I've been both busy and quiet these past few weeks.

Unfortunately, all of the 6mm sci fi stuff I have half finished and the rest of the finished masters waiting to be moulded are going to be put away in a draw for now. There will be no more 6mm stuff produced for a wee while. Things haven't been as good as I hoped (not good TBH) and I have taken the decision to concentrate on the 28mm and 15mm WW2 scenery and 28mm Sci-Fi (40K) Gothic Ruins Range that I have quite a bit stuff done ready and waiting.

....though that is not to say there won't be any more 6mm scenery in the future .

So come January, there will be a sale of 6mm stuff on the webstore...a discount code will be posted nearer the time as I need to get rid of all the stock I have cast up as it's taking up valuable space needed for the new venture.

I will however post any new 6mm stuff on here when I get back to it, and if there is enough interest I may be persuaded to start the 6mm line again early.

So, that's it for now...keep your eyes on here and the FB page for further developments.

Thanks to all of those in the 6mm community who have supported me in these past 6 months....as Arnie once said "I'll be back"

This is tragic news for my terrain collection and boards. I hope that BD's fortunes dramatically improve and that your profilic and quite excellent output can be something I will look forward to once again. I'm not done with ordering terrain by a long shot.

Ah that's a shame to hear those buildings are going just as I became aware of them!

It is a tough call.
Sales here have been slow.
Over the last 6 months they have dropped form about 1 per day to one per week.

It is not the time to be selling 6mm.

It is a shame as I thought your new Gothic building kits would sell loads to the epic community.
I guess they have no more disposable income than anyone else..

:(

Good luck with the bigger stuff though!

:( :'(
That's is truly a shame. Once Christmas was out of the way, I was going to pick up some pieces to go with the new G&G boards. Guess I will have to grab what I can come January.
There aren't really enough decent epic scale scenery suppliers out there, but I guess the player base for smaller scale kits just isn't there compared to the larger scale stuff.
Will be waiting with baited breath for the return in the future.

Matt

Cheers Michael.

I too thought the kit buildings would be popular. 1 sale a week would be nice :) Seriously though, I know what you mean and it just isn't viable at the moment. Its a shame as 6mm is by far the most enjoyable to not only make scenery for, but to play too. Hopefully i will get back to 6mm at some point next year, as there is a shed load of projects I've started and completed I would like to finish and cast. But for now, its time to get rid of some of this 28mm stuff.
