Cheers guys, I'm currently waiting for more RTV rubber, so will be molding these next week.

Here's the update on the first road design...they are 2mm thick at the road section and 4mm thick at the sidewalk. I didn't want to make them too thick, as peoples gaming boards vary. This way they can be mounted on whatever material you want to match up with your gaming table.

Update:

Right, its been a busy week so projects been put on hold for a few days...until tonight!

Sooo....Third building has been cast (see photo)...quite a chunk of resin once cast.....nearly 400g. So 3 buildings molded and cast to date.

The molds for the roads have just been poured, so can start being cast tomorrow.

I'll probably have prices sorted out for these and put up on the weekend. The local company I've been getting resin and rubber from has pulled a flanker and has stopped selling small quantities, so had to look elsewhere, so costs have gone up due to shipping etc...although I'll be selling these cheaper on here for yous guys as a thanks for the feedback. A website is under development at the moment as I've already got a range of 15mm FOW stuff and a few 28mm scale 40K size pieces done.

At the moment I don't have a vacuum chamber so there maybe a few tiny air bubbles in the casts, but nothing a very small amount of green stuff/filler/milliput won't sort

Great minds think alike....

....at some point down the line I'm going to do some 2ft x 2ft tiles, recessed so the roads sit flush to the board and have areas for buildings. These may get cast, or I may just make them out of MDF....I'm not sure yet.....

So here goes...

I've managed to get the first 4 buildings cast up and priced.

Apologies for the very quick and naff painting of the buildings, but wanted to do a quick 1 min dry brush to get them to stand out a bit.

As I mentioned earlier I got screwed from supplier for resin and rubber, so costs went up...however, if anyone on here wants to buy any, I'll be selling them at these cheaper prices here than on ebay / website once sorted.

So, going left to right....

Church style building - £5.00
Tall Admin/Hab building - 6.50
Small Admin / Hab building - 5.50
Large Hab building - £7.00

If these are popular, I'll mould and cast the rest of the buildings.

The roads are done, just need to photo the cast ones, so photos to follow

Just received a pleasingly weighty parcel in this morning from psypher with my order of buildings! I'm delighted with my purchase and can't tell you how happy I am with these!
