I agree with you 100%. The cost point of view is the most important aspect for us gamers. Quality with decent costs :)
What I had in mind was that if I were to place some aircondition etc units on top of the roofs, I would prefer totally flat roof instead of tiled. But it's really not an issue! If you would just leave them blank it would be duller for sure.

I'm guessing you maybe don't have any of the buildings? The reason I ask is that when I spraypainted the buildings with an undercoat and then applied a base grey colour on to the rooftops, the tiling wasn't that obvious at all. I want to see the tiling so I always use a wash to bring out the detail, but if you didn't use the wash I don't think you would find the tiling that noticable.

Hope this helps! :)

Good stuff, glad to be of help! :)

Sadly I have no batteries for my camera otherwise I would have taken some pics for you - here's one I took for a battle report. None of the buildings shown have had wash applied.

those ruins are awesome as are the rest of your products. If there's something I would like to "complain" is the tiled plasticard used in all? building roofs. Doesn't look that good. But thats a minor thing. :)

Hi Lead, The textured roof was used to break up what would be a very dull and bland surface. I wanted some sort of detail to make the model stand out a bit more.

I wanted to keep the roof sections fairly basic and detail free for a number of reasons that Bissler has already pointed out. Unfortuantly, I am unable to afford the technology larger business's invest in to produce their moulds and also for me less detail results in fewer minor defects etc. So I'm making a basic building, with less detail, hence lower costs. They are left for people to customise to suit their needs as not everyone wants clutter on roof which doesn't allow positioning of figures etc. I was going to produce vents etc in the future that people can glue down to customise their scenery if they didn't want to make their own.

Thanks for the positive comments though. Much appreciated.

These have featured on my own Ork thread, but thought you might want a few pics of the settlement that I recently painted up using your buildings. :)

Brilliant work sir! I love the colour scheme.

I'll send you out the first cast of the larger ork building for your collection :)

I'm on the process of compiling a catalogue of items I've made for sale. There will be a separate thread appearing on here soon, with photos, descriptions and prices that i can update as and when new items become available. So please bare with me for a short while longer.

Thanks.

Well, with help from Jimmy, here is the start of the website. Its still early days and I've still a lot to do, such as re-photograph and add, but they will appear on here soon.

Please have a look and see what you think. C&C most welcome :)
