The Tall Fortified buildings should be pretty soon. They don't need reprinting, they just need to be made thicker and remolded. I would have had them done already, but I need a set of flawless casts to work off of and they're being uncooperative :D I have a long weekend coming up so I'll see if I can get them up and running then.

I have the new prints for the High Gothic buildings. Unfortunately one of the parts didn't turn out so the Small size ones may take a little longer while I wait for a reprint.

In the meantime, I've set my sights on one other bottleneck - the new style of molds produce wall pieces beautifully and efficiently, but I'm still having problems getting the roof pieces to turn out. They're just too thin in their current form. So I'm going back to the drawing board and adding a bit of detail, too. Let me know what you think!

Just like with the Tall buildings, I'd like to have a few different roof styles for other sizes. These are prototypes for the new Armoured Roof:

I was wondering if there was a way to modularize roofs as well. I joined several sets to create bigger buildings, and then these roofs will not fit. Or maybe design roofs made for other shapes (e.g. "L" shaped buildings)

Modular roofs would have my interest.
I like others have been making my own structures and the roof sections either have to be converted or scratch built and they never look as good as the originals.

I was thinking something like this

Two pieces: roof surface and roof edge.

left is crosscut. surface has a lip that you fit edge to. right is a surface (square in the middle) surrounded by edges. Each edge incorporates one corner. This can easily be sawed off to extend possibilities. Does not solve all problems, but would simplify custom building roofs I think.

I also would love to see and option for using the roofs to make larger buildings.

I am still cleaning/washing the massive number of goodies. Side note; water temperature, very hot, does not seem to cause any warping. I could have used the dish washer!

Objectives or Terrain. Who knows. I routinely forget my objectives at home.

I'm back!
Sorry I haven't been around lately - the end-of-semester crunch was kicking my ass. Fortunately that's all done now, so I can get back to focusing on buildings.

The new Tall Fortified masters are done and I poured the production mold today, so I should be able to begin casting them up tomorrow.

There was a problem with one of the prints for the updated Gothic buildings, but I sent it back to be redone and the printer tells me they just shipped it out. Getting the Gothic patterns up and running is my next priority.

And I've almost finished painting up sample buildings for the products on the store, so soon things should look a little less...threadbare.

Hey Mattie, those bunkers are looking good! It looks like you added some markings on top which I can't quite make out in the photo...what did you use?
+++Edit: Never mind, found the rest of the photos on your blog. Nice work!

Sorry again for the delay, guys - thanks for sticking with me!

-Chris

Good to hear you are back! Why not add a customer gallery. You could choose which to publish. It would help you display stuff quickly.
