Yes , talk is cheap! lets glue some plastic crap to... some other Plastic crap and see what we get!
Oh yeah and I wish I had thought to clone my ruins and make silicon molds before I used all the good pieces.

sorry I had not posted the final pics, now I have them , you can see the effect I was trying to go for.

File comment: I had some leftover brick sections from the ruin buildings i cut up.
so I had some fun with this.
plastic card wall with exposed brick look for that extra war torn look!

Nice walkthrough and a great end result!

Given the difficulty & cost of scoring some 3rd ed. sprues, you might be able to face p-card brick printed sheet over sturdier stock for a similar effect. Unfortunately, you'd still get stuck cutting all those windows, but it's doable.

Some of you might have seen my new terrain post of late, This is what I have been saying by I will do more terrain tutorials, Like this one. people liked this one. so I will do more! I have a lot terrain Ideas to share with every one! Plus I like doing them lol

I have some more photos of another Gothic building I had made for Pacificon 2013.
Normally I am not happy with the colors I choose when painting terrain, but I was happy with the colors and layering I did with this one!
and My legion of the Damned are sitting in for scale.

Im so sorry I had whiten the whole thing out on how I did it, wile on my lunch brake and my browser crashed it was sad, as it was quite a detailed retelling of the process i used and I don't have it in me to type in now, so tomorrow at lunch I will attempted it again, I shall do this for prosperity sake. I don't want to forget how I did this paint job, as I plan to recreate it on at least 2 to 3 more buildings that I will make down the road!
