Nice, Firestorm. You're right: it could work as either terrain or an objective.

I like the little razor wire strips. I have been thinking of ways of how I could designate the boundaries of a mine field area (no cover dangerous terrain for Infantry and Vehicles with WE being OK) because 6mm is just too small to do little warning signs and what not...... but maybe some razor wire fences like that would do just the trick.

Very nice Firestorm, your stuff really looks good. What colors/process did you use for the earth and grass?

Thanks, Dave!
My earth texture is painted like this:
- first, I use either Citadel Bestial Brown/Vallejo Beasty Brown as the base coat*. - Then I dry brush a mix of Bestial Brown & Bubonic Brown (Vallejo Plague Brown) - Then Bubonic (Plague) Brown on its own - Then a mix of Bubonic Brown & Bleached Bone - Then Bleached Bone - Then Bleached Bone & Fortress Grey - Finally, I pick out stony/rocky areas with just alight dry-brush of Fortress Grey.
Hope this helps, thanks for looking!
* For larger areas, e.g. my actual gaming boards themselves, the base colour is Emulsion Paint by a Company called Macphersons (I think, I'll have to verify that) - the shade of Brown I use is called 'Stag'.

Well, I made them two months ago, but I've now started painting them - here are the first couple of Epic ruins:

And a detail shot of the larger one:

To be honest, I think I could've made a far better job on these - since I made them others such as Mark Logue, Chaplain Leviticus etc etc have posted pics of their Epic ruins, which are far more detailed and just, well, better. I wish I'd have added more details like bomb craters - but there's always the next batch to rectify that...
Thanks for looking, more pics of more stuff soon!

That's the great thing about ruins - you can add as much or as little detail as you want.

I don't recognize those partial floors. Did you make them? If so, from what?
