Glad you're happy with them.

A small version of road bridge #2 (this one: http://www.s6engineering.co.uk/images/roadbridge2p.jpg) is imminent.

Fantastic! I've been really, really pleased with the roads that I ordered, so I'll probably be making another order sometime in the new year for some buildings. I've been looking forward to the canals and bridges since the 28mm ones came out :)

On a tangentially related note, I noticed that the bases with a numbered dial you make work nicely for titans. Any plans to create bases with symbols on?

For Epic, these could be used to indicate special orders (much like the special order dice that came with BF:G and Epic: 40,000), but you could also do dials with effects for Warmachine and Warhammer 40k (such as shaken, stunned etc). They'd work great for skimmers etc.

Talking about skimmers, any chance you could make longer clear acrylic pieces for the flying bases? The ones you make are great for Land Speeders and things, but I'd love a few for proper flyers (a bit like the Valkyrie stand, but more sturdy).

And we now have the bridge available to cross the canals.

No plans for a titan version but if you want to drop me an email with artwork I could do a special one for you.

I've been thinking about a big flying stand but TBH the valk stand works pretty well. What actually needs improving?

I'm not a fan of the x-shaped cross section (because the Valk stand is made up of two parts).
Basically, I'm after some nice tall flying stands for some Eldar grav tanks – I'd prefer them to be higher up than the standard flying stand makes them, and be easier to transport. The integrated magnets of your designs looks good – all I'm after is the option for some longer stands, really :)

It also occurred to me that your Gruntz markers would be brill for Epic – the supressed markers would make nice blast markers. Any plans to sell them separately, or create an Epic set (blast markers, broken/marched/overwatch symbols)?

Can you do counter bases with 2 counter wheels on them?

One to track damage capacity, and one to track shields.

I'd probably want about 10.

A longer stand could certainly be done. I made the current one to exactly match the GW stand to keep it tournament legal. Would need to be careful how much longer it is - need to keep it stable. The current ones do that quite nicely, even the old fire prisms sit well.

Epic markers are on the list - not sure when I'll get to them though!

Certainly can - I'm working on a base with four dials and a direction indicator for an upcoming starship combat game.

What markings would you want?

Two wheels, with 0-12 marked on each.

That should cover most of the requirements of Epic up to Great Gargant in size (12 damage points & a maximum of 12 power fields).

That should be do-able, I'll stick it on the list.

Few quick questions, Scott.

1) What is the usable area of the baseplates. Conversly, how wide are the sidewalks and what is the radius of the interior turn?

2) Are canal ends simiilar to the large scale ones in the works?

3) You have the canals listed as being "10.5cm, the same length as a long road" Long roads are listed as being 11cm. Which is correct, and how do the canals interact with the roads? Are they designed to go straight through the city, with no turns, or are turns possible within the block system?

The small baseplates are 75x75mm inside the pavements, the large are 75x103mm. Pavements are 12mm wide and the corner radius is 10mm.

Yes and no. More likely for the small scale canals will be an accessory pack with a variety of bits, including some ends.

It is possible to have the canals interact with the city system but it requires some modification. You will need to adjust the length of some of the straights to create short-road and road-junction length pieces. The parts can be scored (I find six strokes is about right) and then snapped.

Not sure why I put 10.5cm - either a brain malfunction or I didn't zero my caliper properly! They're 11cm. If you need exact measurements, the roads are 11.1cm and the canals are 10.8cm. (there is a reason for the small difference - if a future project comes to fruition then it'll all make sense....)

I'd rather not say, in case it doesn't work out.

There is an interesting Epic release coming this week though.
