I remember a bit in the horus heresy where Imperial fist's Rogal Dorn had a flying fortress to transport him to the palace for the last stand against Horus before it got shot down by Traitor titans and crash into the Chaos horde. Anyone got any pics or more info on the flying fortress? I was thinking of making it similar to the FW BFG ramilies star fort. |

AFAIK the sky fortress (or somesuch) was only mentioned in the Horus Heresy boardgame. There was no pic save for a silhouette in the counter. Perhaps someone could scan it? |

Neat ! I never saw these as I never got the Game ! IIRC, my gaming bud, 3rdI may have it ? But I'm sure we never played ... too busy Epicing in those days. He probably bought it for the fluff !

No problem  Don't know what is in the ForbiddenFortress. There are 6 additionoal Fortresses across the map and 4 Starports and 4 IndustryComplexes. |

My guess would be the Astronomicon. BTW I think I remember reading somewhere that the Imperial Palace was Aquila shaped. Could be from the Rogue Trader book. Anyone wondered what the space ships on the cover of the BFG Rulebook are orbiting? I'd say Terra and the Imperial palace... Just a wild tought... |

Hmnoo 1. The SkyFortress was no spacefortress. It was a VERY large skimmer. 2. It was destroyed during the Battle of Terra. |
