i have been building some titans in 40k scale and i am now about to start some imperial ones. i would like to know where i can get more info on how the titan leigions are organised and the badges ect that are used when it comes time to paint them.

Yes, the AT rule book does, my copy is in the War Room. :D  I doubt those rules are on line anywhere ? ???  :{

No fixed size or organization has ever been nailed down in any GW pub.  I seem to recall that the best estimate we (Epicomms as a whole) came up with for the number of titans, by attempting to read between the lines from every scrap of fluff, was ~50 for a normal Legio, meaning demi- and quatro- would be ~25 and ~12, respectively.  The biggest legio is definitely a bit over 100 titans.

I don't think anyone has ever come up with any organizational information that is applicable to titan legions in general.

Ok, sorry.... except for the elite Legio - er - Ordo Sinister? - if I remember correctly, which had bery few Titans.

1 dozen.  All Emperators.

But they are Adeptus Ministorum (iirc - different organization, anyway) and not part of the Titan Legions proper.

Thats the thread I was thinking of, maybe a year or so ago.  Damned if it can find it though....ahhhh

We also speculated on the composition fo those Quatro and demi-Legio and the use of Warhound pairs, Reaver Battlegroups and Warlords.  Most legios would only have few (0-2) Imperators.

Thanks Neal and Dysartes. Now there's a modelling project for you, an entire Titan Legion! The Imperator conversion shown in Dysartes' thread elsewhere would certainly fit the part! All you need are 11 more Imperators....  :p

I wonder what the EpciComms Legio would be up to now. ?This total of 195 was awhile ago now.... ?I know I've bought some since :D

OK - Ive found it!

Hmmmm. I made a couple of trades/purchases after that.

Including "Da unpainted 'uns" I've added 6 Warlords and 4 Warhounds. Plus I have painted a Custodian Titan complete with a devotional bell and a custodian Head.
