So I noticed that the Epic Chaos list has this vehicle called a DeathWheel...but what is this thing? Is it pre heresy technology? Who is the crew of that thing. Is it a daemonengine? Any into on that machine? |

It seem that it is solely invented for Epic. So is the Decimator but some people thay it is from the Horus Heresy card game, buti haven't seen any drawed pictures of it. |

Here's a guide to how I built mine. http://www.mustangsalling.dk/chaos/blacklegion.html I haven't got any background info either  Before it was introduced in the early Black Legion E:A list I don't think there's been any mention of this war engine.

Didn't Jervis come up with the deathwheel idea when he did V1 of the list . I'm sure he mentioned it on the old forum along with his vision of what the deathwheel would be like. |

There is a brief blurb somewhere out there. Older versions of the BL list had it. I presume that PG cut it out of the most recent, pending a rewrite, because it had Jervis's editorial/design comments mixed into the flavor text. |

Yes Jervis came up with the ideas for the Deathwheel and Decimator. ?They have not appeared before anywhere else (that I know of). ?There really isn't any background info on the Deathwheel other than a description. ?The Decimator fluff was revamped when it became apparent there wasn't going to be an official model. ?Because of having no model and using an Imperial SHT as the basis for converting/buiding a Decimator the stats were altered to be DC 3. ?Then we tweaked the fluff to say it was an old STC from the Heresy that was lost and forgotten by the Imperials. Since then the Decimator has been modified and to what it is now and is being used by Chaos Marines. -Audrey |
