It's like a + that curls over at the top (ears) and I paint the individual quarters. I think I've described it better in the thread though.

For those of you who have put together a SW Great Company, like I'm in the process of doing, how did you differentiate between the various packs (particularly Grey Hunter's and Blood claws)? |

I use the standard colour markings they show in the 40K codex. So Grey Hunters red+black, Blood Claws yellow+red, Long Fangs black+white. Each pack in the Great Company (every two units) has various pack marks like 1,2,3 claw marks.
