Fall In is coming up. My kid played at AdeptiCon and HistoriCon. She wants to do Fall In. I asked her what army she wanted. Elder was the choice, maybe just cause it is purple?

I don't know dick about the Eldar. Never played with them. I have been abused by Dave's Eldar. Can one of ya experienced Eldar players recommend a list for her?

Do you know what you have, model-wise? Or have a pic of it all?

Void Spinners for stalling early turn 1, break some formations to get activation advantage.
Rangers screen the Void Spinners.
Phoenix target mixed formation or something packed together with AV/LV.
Falcons activate trying to break armor or get into a support position for Spiders or start of Turn 2 engagements.
Guardians are Avatar delivery system for Turn 2 or 3, stick to cover and double up to support late turn 1 engagement. Turn 2, summon the Avatar, support his assault then grab an objective.
Autarch onboard for the reroll, double or march it late turn 1 engagement support a turn 1 engagement with the Vampire or webway, or use it to engage early turn 2 .
Spiders in the Vampire or in the Webway. Engage late turn 1 if you can, then hide or have the Vampire pick them up if they came out of the webway.

Go with Biel-Tan. They have some of the cheapest core warhost options, allowing you to expand the rest of the army with your choice of support troupes. They have some nice exotic unit choices, and can field between 10 and 11 formations in the army plus the avatar.

A quick army, you use your transports or Storm Serpents to deploy troops where needed, there are decent tank options with both falcons and prism tanks and some decent ground based AA with fire storms. You get a choice between 2 types of artillery the night spinners or the heavier void spinner. Artillery is a must to keep the enemy riddled with blast markers, or to take down those pesky shields.

Fast bikers and support bikers, hard hitting aspect warriors, and cheap rangers, and guardians allow you to take and hold objectives. a good mix of war engines and perhaps a titan or pair of revenants can annoy the enemy.

Do not forget those eldar rules. a tripple activation if one of the formations has a farseer in it and you do not have to shoot thenm move or move then shoot, you can move/ shoot/ move. The ability to move full distance after winning a combat engagement rather than 5 or 10 cm. A special 3+ save holo fields that work even in close combat for their titans.

Biel-tan are the tournament preferred list, although you might consider Sian-Hann if you want mostly bikers, light vehicles and fast hover tanks speeding around the table, or even Iyanden if you want a lot of slightly more expensive hard to kill off fearless wraith infantry and lords. they still get most of the support troupes you see in the biel-tan list except for maybe the void spinner.
