Hey guys just checking in to see how this is going or if its happening. Just wondering if anything came of this and needs testing/ battle reports. Did the ACs come up with anything?

I thought it boiled down to this sort of situation

'a significant number of EpicAU players are unhappy with the BT list's power level, most other groups are generally okay with it, EpicAU therefore will modify the list to create a version more acceptable to the EpicAU community for use in that particular meta'

I mean that seems the solution that keeps the biggest number of people happy to me, not ideal but better than all the arguments and bad feeling ;)

Yeah sorry for the slow replay...

I will not be changing any of the main rules for the 5 main Craftworlds and Yme-loc. Also that there will be no other changes applied to the BT list at this point in time. I know that this will help the other lists that are in testing at the moment, since it will allow some stability for the future. I know some will be happy and other will not Be… I’m still think that the BT should be more aspect focus and one way to do it is to make Ulthwe the guardians list and do both concurrently. That way hopefully, we could mim’s the impact on player collections. So I will look at how that could be implemented at some point..

But yeah I agree with kyussinchains, it will be that the EpicAU will have their own Eldar Lists, with want rules and points etc..that suit the particular meta... I don't have problem, if that's want happens and I see it begin the best way forward for all concern...

Also my apologies for the lack of Batreps from me.. The problem at moment for me, is that the wind was taken out of my sails for anything epic. Well that wind has slowly been building up again, very slowly.. So hopefully will get the speed up again on getting them done..

Well, this would hit hard indeed. ;) At least BT Guardians shouldn't contribute to the unlock ratio and thus to the striking flexibility in list building rendering BT to the strongest Eldar faction so far.

My suggestion would be to simply change Each warhost you include in the army allows you to field any three troupes.) into Each Aspect Warrior warhost you include in the army allows you to field any three troupes.)

This would also adress the 'Ranger Spam' which could further be levelled by making these nasty fellas 6 stands for 150 pts at minimum size (still permitting to ad up to two Rangers for +25 pts each to allow for rounding out fractions).

War Walkers - still a comparatively weak choice - would become more attractive as an alternative garrison/scout formation. By the way, upping their speed to 25cm would help them a lot.

Cheers!

Is the Ulthwe list NetEA approved?

Nope.

I played the Ulthwé for testing at a local "Midigeddon" (1.500 points) tournament. Well, I might not be the most experienced tournament player and 1500 points on a small board definitively does not suite the Eldar, but the Ulthwé list seems to very infelxible yet, not only compared to Biel-Tan.

Switched to playing Alaitoc by the way, as this list is closest to the 'Vanilla' Eldar list I'd so much like to see.

Cheers!
