ok, so just got through playing against the non Chroma made Yme-Loc list. after looking at both of these lists i really want to combine them and tweak them to make them more playable. The list i was using had "new" tanks including an artillery tank named the rending hammer. it was quite painful in its stats but luckily i broke them before they had a chance to do anything.
I was curious if anybody has used either of these two lists. the other list is Yme-Loc version X.X.2.
somebody let me know ok.

Oh, that was my list, which I never actually got to test.
The rending hammer may be a bit too powerful, but it has a very short range. My thinking is that they'd be used to same way that the SM land speeders are - move them into support position and fire, then follow up with an assault on the targeted formation. I gave them 2 FF attacks so that a Yme-loc player could have a reliable assault formation that wasn't infantry-based.
The down side for them is that they have poor armor and they can be left hung out to dry if the eldar player can't manage to retain. I'm not sure if that's really enough to balance their power, so if they need to be toned down more, I'd suggest either decreasing their shooting range to 15cm, or lower their FF value so they don't hit as easily while they support.
I would mention, though, that since there is a good chance that they'll have to double to get into position, they usually only be hitting on a 5 or 6 when firing, unlike most other artillery.

interesting.. ya. my opponent took ALL five..lol... i said,, isn't that a bit much. I like some of what you have in that list Sema, like the four to five unit sheilds of vaul. though if you combined some of the idea's with Croma's list (ie the Warp gate) i think it would be cool. Though 300 points for five of them seems really cheap when you use all five of them. I'd put a +25 point upgrade on them honestly. They almost put a hurt on my fresh unit of imperial guardsmen in ruins.... 10bp would have produced a near unit wipe other than the chimera's that were in front of the building. 4+ to hit, ingnore cover, disrupt... ya.. how they were three templates would have made for some pain. 6 fire prisms are almost 400 points. but overall both lists have potential.

Oh yeah, a points increase can help balance things too. So are you suggesting that they be +25pt per tank over what a night spinner costs? I guess I can see that - they'd have a similar assault ability as a 6-man aspect troupe in transports, have far superior shooting to aspects, but are also far more vulnerable to enemy action.
But like I said, I never got a chance to test it - I kind of just wanted to get the idea of having new eldar tanks into the heads of others. I feel very strongly that for a tank-heavy eldar list to be done right, we need to add a few more tank types. And if we do add new tanks, they need to have a clear role in the list.
I still think we need to come up with a good statline for the E:40k command falcon, since we have an existing model that is clearly different from the standard falcon.

agreed on everything you said. I like the command falcon,, and it needs stats, unless we just use it as a bright chariot. which my opponent did not take. But with you coming up with different tanks.. i like that. especially for a eldar tank list. Well, i and a friend will play round with it though his next venture with eldar will be beiltan again. so far he has played beil tan once, saim hain once(with my two vamp hunters....they rock where there is no air cover on one single marine hunter). and now he played your list. he thought that the farseer tank in the sword of vaul was worthless but he did not use it right.. after playign the list he realized he shoudl have gone litteraly all tank. I did tell him he should have used some mounted infantry, or jetbikes. But in the end he realised he used the army all wrong and should not have gone for a balanced infantry/tank force, especially with a warlock titan involved(which he did not use aggressivly) I painted it up with the powerfist/psi lance combo and we used the house rules that you can use any of the powerfist possibilities. (aka, depending on the situation of CC/FF or ranged 30cm.) He let my guard carve him up piecemeal. In the end i achieved 4 out of 5 Victory conditions. Oh well, lesson learned and i face a new eldar army with learning under his belt.... maby i'll face him with Epilgrims squats next.. lol... eat Leviathans..
