Ok, so I have been looking to put together a 3k point Dark Eldar list for a while. The following is what I am looking to start from but would love to hear from the community to see how this list is good/bad/ugly and recommendations on how to make it better.

I just started Dark Eldar as well and your list is very interesting to me, because it's so different from mine. So I'm curious how it will work on the tabletop. On paper/screen it seems a bit few on numbers, thus being even more vulnerable than DE are anyway. I would prabably exchange one Flotilla for a Warroir formation, which would give you more flexibility, more numbers and a formation that can occupy buildings. Please let me know when you played the list, i'm still trying to get a feel for the de myself.

I think it has merit. There are some minor changes I would make to it based on personal preference, but nothing overt. The flotillas are nice, but they don't have much staying power and easily broken. You have no warriors and they are a good way to bulk up your activations for low cost. They also have pretty darned good assaulting capabilities. The fact that they can assault and shoot from their transports is a flexibility you may not want to pass up.

You have no scouts. I have played plenty of games without them but I just wanted to point out their lack in the list.

You have no gate. Keep in mind Ravagers and Raiders can use the gate (they are Light Vehicles) and that is a handy place to hide tank hunters that are made out of wicker baskets.

My guess is that you will play a reasonably successful game with this list if your opponent is armor heavy. If not the heavy emphasis on lance weaponry may end up with underwhelming consequences.

Now I was thinking I could drop the Dracon to add the Webway Portal, and maybe even drop the Barge of Pleasure to add two Mandrakes to the Syndicate.
