I have a friend who hasnt played Epic in YEARS, but used to do so a lot as a youth (we're talking about 20 years ago - I saw some of his models today and yes, ANCIENT is a good answer!)

I showed him the EA Eldar lists tonight, and he wondered whatever happened to the Tempest tank?  I dont know anything about it, but he was quite striken to see it missing.  I thought I'd ask for him :)

According to the Gaming Section of Stormwind, it's the same as the Scorpion.

Yep, it's now the Scorpion... a super-heavy tank that puts out some nasty shooting.

The Tempest is now the Scorpion, but all the old Epic models from the original Eldar range are still usable, and are better than the current ones in my opinion too, so your friend can do what I do, and just use Tempests as Scorpions if he does not want to buy the current models.
