Post subject:  Some lists for advice

Hello folks,

List advice request here, sorry about the length.

Going to have a few games on wednesday of this week as Eldar vs. Smurfs, and am looking for some advice on two lists I have prepared. I'm using Biel Tan with the official Errata. We are starting with 2000 pts, only infantry and vehicles as it has been a while since we both played, then hopefully 3000 and 4000 points including flyers and WEs depending on time. Below I have two lists, the 2k and 3k possibilities.

Please cut them to bits, and any advice on tactics would be most welcome:

2000 Pts
Webway Gate - 50
Avatar - Free (Hooray, best rule ever, and I have the old giant SM Avatar with the big sword to tower over the puny humans   )

Guardian warhost 1 - Farseer + 7 stands + 3 heavy weapons 200
Guardian warhost 2 - Farseer + 7 stands + 4 wave serpents 350
Aspect warriors - 8 swooping hawks + 2 exarchs 350

3 x Prism cannons 250
6 x Vypers 200
5 x Falcons 250
5 x Falcons 250
4 x Scouts 100
2000pts total

3000 Pts
Webway Gate - 50
Avatar - Free

Guardian warhost 1 - Farseer + 7 stands + 3 heavy weapons 200
Guardian warhost 2 - Farseer + 7 stands + 4 wave serpents 350
Aspect warriors - 8 swooping hawks + 2 exarchs 350

3 x Prism cannons 250
6 x Vypers 200
5 x Falcons 250
5 x Falcons 250
6 x Warwalkers 200

2 x Revenants 650
1 x Cobra 250
3000pts total

Debating whether the lone cobra will do much, I could replace it with nightwings maybe in the 3000pts, and take 2 Cobras in the 4000pts?
Am thinking of deploying Guardian warhost 1 out of the gate? Are their heavy weapons worth the points, or would I be better getting rid of their heavy weapons, the scouts and SH exarchs, and taking Warwalkers from the off in the 2000pts?

Looking for advice on what to add to make a 4000pt list please. Will replace a falcon in each troupe with a firestorm to protect against air attack.

Anyway here is what else I have available, including the above:
6 Wraithlords - was thinking of putting 3 of these in Guardian warhost 1, but I'm unsure if they would just make it too expensive and tempting/easy to take out from range
3 Phantoms - Bought 2 of these on Ebay for £2  :agree: , unsure whether to replace the Revenants with a Phantom, I like the flexibility of the two smaller titans.
1 Warlock - Love the stats and fluff of this but unsure in such small games, never used one before
1 Scorpion
2 Cobras plus the one above, are 2 cobras better, or a cobra and scorpion paired?
1 Vampire - Aspect air assault?
6 Phoenix bombers - would 2 bomber wings be good in the larger 4000pt game, or a bit hit and miss, better to have things on the ground?
8 Nightwings
5 falcons (plus the 10 above to make 15 in total)
10 wave serpents (plust the 4 above to make 14)
4 Night spinners - are these any good versus marines considering they have ATSKNF
11 jetbikes
16 guardian stands (plus the 14 above to make 30)
10 support platforms
4 wraithguard - as for wraithlord, in warhost 1 instead of support platforms?

As you can see I have a real mishmash of aspects, can only really field swooping hawks in any number
3 dark reapers, 4 harlequins, 3 striking scorpions, 2 Dire avengers, 2 warp spiders, 3 Howling Banshees, 2 fire dragons

Any advice is welcome. Am worried about Terminators, they never die, never faced a Titan larger than a Warhound before either.

Thanks

That Warlock Titan is guaranteed to win any number of games vs. SM, they are ill-equipped to deal with it. Fielding it when you know you are facing SM is close to cheating!
:;):

Nightwings will be useful to shoot down T-Hawks, denying the SM one of their strengths. Success is not assured, but Eldar have the best fighters for that task.

I commonly mix my Windriders 4 Jebikers and 2 Vypers, giving the ability to put BM even when shot-at, plus having 4+ save Vypers up front to soak hits. The added vulnerability of the LVs is a worthy tradeoff IMO.
