I read in one of the battle reports that a fomation of Swooping Hawks had garrison an objectives. I know that only Rangers and War Walkers are allowed to garrison objectives. What is the correct way to garrison objectives? |

from the eldar rules i know. (they may have changed in a update i missed), ONLY war walkers and rangers may garrison. the swooping hawks should not have garrisoned in the reference you made. |

I concur. In the Swordwind Eldar list, only Scouts and Warwalkers may garrison. No other unit types may do so. Perhaps this was an alternative Eldar force list used? |

The garrison restriction is only applied during setup. Are you talking about claiming/contesting objectives? That's the only way it could happen in "Turn 3" and, yes, any Eldar formation may capture/contest an objective. If only Rangers and War Walkers could claim objectives, the Eldar would have a very hard time winning any games! |
