Post subject:  Forgeworld Wave Serpent Rules?

I was wondering if anybody knew of any extisting rules for them and if so where?

I did a search for them and could not find any?

if nobody knows of some, what do people think of:

5 point upgrade per wave serpent, consisting of

Twin bright lance, 30cm  AT 4

Twin scatter laser, 30cm AP 5/ AT 5

Twin star cannon, 30cm  AP 3

Twin Eldar missile launcher 45cm AP 5/ AT 6

I would like to hear what you think and if i've been blind and missed a previous post on this subject.

As ever I'm totally in favour of giving friendly-standard rules & points for current production models that lack them... and this list looks pretty good IMHO.

The general pattern I've noticed is that twin linked weapons in EA usually have their hit values decreased by 1.

Since the Scatter Laser is AP5+/ AT5+ and Missile Launcher is AP5+/ AT6+/ AA6+ shouldn't that make them AP4+/ AT4+ and AP4+/ AT5+/ AA5+ respectively?

Then again, the Scatter Laser at AP4+/ AT4+ seems way to powerful to me, maybe AP4+/ AT5+?

Missile Launchers at 25pts for AP4+/ AT5+/ AA5+ I think would work though.

i don't think the missile lancher should have the AA because that would make it the cheapest AA in the game and make Eldar almost impossible to use aircraft againest, and those stats are also the same as the titan missile lancher!

the main reason i didn't give them the +1 for them being twin linked is to make them blanced againest other things the points and not to let them affect the way that wave serpents are used
which is as a transport not a shooting tank that can transport(e.g. Falcon).

the weapons are ment to be a thing that if you have and want to use thats ok, but not to be good enough to give a boost to  people only use them.

Good points on the AA :-P.  A twin missile launcher with only an AT of 6 just seems nerfed though.

And then up its cost over the scatter laser for the increase in range?
