Warp Hunters are described as being very rare; I'd suggest up to one in non Yme-Loc Swords of Vaul Troupes, and up to three in Yme-Loc Swords of Vaul Warhosts.

Edit:

So we're looking at something like this?

Eldar Warp Hunter
Type Speed Armour CloseCombat Firefight
AV 35cm 5+ 6+ 5+
Weapon Range Firepower Notes
twin-linked shuiken catapults (15cm) Small Arms - ignores cover
Warp Hunter D-Cannon 30cm MW4+ TK(1)

It's the Aetheric Rift that gives SA IC, not the ShuriCats, which all Falcon hulls have.

Yes.

All D-Cannons bypass Void Shields and Power Fields.
* = Wounds always on 2+. On a roll of 6 it also causes Instand Death. Vehicles always get a glancing hit on a 3 or 4 and a penetrating hit on 5 or 6.

The Cobra's D-Cannon always inflicts Instand Death if they wound it's victim. With Strength D it also auto-penetrates armour and gets a +1 on the damage table.

And we will be applying this to Epic Eldar Cobras when? Stooopid Void Shields....

I don't think the Warp Hunter warrants TitanKiller.

@Lsrwolf: Well at least the Cobra has Ignore Cover against WarEngines :D

It's a bigger d-cannon, so it could be a TK weapon (MW feels better though). I'd think the important part would be to balance it against a Falcon.

Yes the bigger size is the reason for the longer range and the alternate firing mode with the ability to cover more area at a much shorter range in Wh40k.

On the Epic level there is no difference to the Support Weapon Platfrom with Ignore Cover to the basic FF attack. Perhabs 45cm range.

Notes: Jumppacks, Invulnerable Save.

?

I like them having Teleport. Seemed to fit well fluff wise.

I don't think they need to be so balanced to the other aspects as I can't see them be adding to any current list. Maybe a new and lost Craftworld where these are there only and/or main type of Aspects left. Making them a formation on their own.

I like the idea of new aspect warriors, thanks for the stats.

Eldar Shadow Spectre
Type Speed Armour CloseCombat Firefight
Infantry 25cm 5+ 6+ 5+
Weapon Range Firepower Notes
Prism rifles (15cm) Small Arms -
Ghostlight 45cm AT4+ Lance

I like those stats. They make good AT infantry, but why do they have Inv. Save?? do they have some Holo-Field equipment??

Yes, they each have a holofield.

If they have a holofield, justifying an invulnerable save, why not just make their armour save 4+?
This would match existing Aspects, simplify dice rolling and make them a little more vulnerable and 'Eldar-like' from an E:A perspective.

Jump packs just allows 15cm disembarkation zone from (WE?) transports, right? Seems fine to me. I'd rather the Inv Save be added to the standard AR value (so AR4+). Not because I don't think it's justified by the fluff, but because Inv Save is a Character thing (I think) for infantry and it would feel odd on a standard infantry unit, Aspect or not.

I think 45cm AT4+ Lance would be really good - 8 shots for 300pts, able to hide in cover but hit'n'run with that 25cm move. Compared to 12 shots without Lance for the Falcons (even with the extra 10cm move) seems pretty good. I don't think FF5 completely makes up for that as they're unlikely to be used in assaults other than as support fire.

For the Warp Hunter, those stats seem more or less right. One thing to think about would be how many hits (and points of damage) would a fm of 1/ 3/ 6 get against a war engine compared to a Cobra and for how many points?

As for the Hornet, well all my Vypers will now be counting as Hornets! Can't see any point in taking Vypers any more..

Jump pack also allows you to 'jump' over impassable or difficult terrain which is another slight boost to the unit's mobility, as well as being able to dismount 15cm from air transport (only the standard 5cm from other transport).
