1) Is it really necessary to have the Eldar missile launchers as an upgrade, especially as they are free (or close to!) and all the basic models have them already modeled on? Can't they just be a standard part of the model? The core three Titans have that a "2 x" as well, why would the Titan Clan's Titans be "poorer cousins"?
It was to try to make them more modular. But in hindsight I think ETC and AMTL can't follow the same modular concept to the same degree. The "2x" was a error on my part, they were to be the same as the other Titans.Chroma wrote:
2) Could I suggest using the "Wraith Seer" character as the supreme commander of this list instead of the "Wraithsinger" which only adds supreme commander for +100 points? Seems a bit expensive and is "yet another character". Heck, what's wrong with just using the Autarch, but with a different name (if needed) for flavor? Speaking of characters, the Eldar Battle Titans are already supposed to come with leader, so I'm not sure a character giving leader is needed, commander is cool though, but I see it being used *very* rarely.
Wraith Seer sounds good. I just made names up on the fly so to confuse with Standard Autarch or Exarch. The reason for this was that Titans shouldn't/wouldn't get the same stats effects and bonuses as normal Character upgrades would give, hence the reason for different names.Chroma wrote:
3) Having 3+ initiative on the Phantasm Titan is pretty brutal. With a Blast marker on it, it's only got a 50% chance of activating; is that level of unreliability your intent?
The concept was to have a cheaper Phantom Titan but that was un-piloted. There for having a worse Iniative as there actions would be a slower/repeat me fashion. But taking a Spiritsinger would help them to make them more action-able. +1 or a re-roll was my options. I thought the re-roll gave it more of a uncertain psychic connection feel.Chroma wrote:
4) The way you've written the Titan datafaxes is "May Take Two... Weapons" means that cheaper "weapon-less" Battle Titans can be taken, perhaps with a free Missile Launcher to become a "cheap" and nasty assault unit. Earlier versions of the AMTL list had this problem. I'd suggest following my original Fir Iolarion list, based on the normal Eldar Titan weapons, and allowing various weapons to be swapped out for standard Pulsars and appropriate costs.
My document set-up and wording are not the best. I am an amateur after all.

5) I think a Titan toting a Wraithgate is very cool, but I think it might be worth more that +50 points. Shattering an enemy formation with a Phantom, moving to support range of another formation, and then having six Wraithlords pour out is gonna really make people not like you... *LAUGH*
True. I was just throwing a price out there. I mean the Storm EoV doesn't have a price in cress. Would recommended 75 or 100?Chroma wrote:
6) I'm going to start with labeling this V2.0, with any changes rolling that number up, okay?
Sounds good. But now if feel more like a real list that way instead of me just throwing ideas out!
I think I will pound out 2.1 for your consideration Sir!
