Hi james - its been a while.

At present I was idly brainstorming here, and Ignore Cover is definitely not "out" - just put aside for the moment while we try to establish the right level of power increase (see the adjacent poll). CC2+ Ignore cover is a possibility, along with adding infiltrate (or some movement increase).

Just speaking personally here, I suspect that CC2+ could be way OTT (along with CC4+ EA+1). But let's just see what happens in the next poll tomorrow where we explore some of these options. :)

So the clear result of this poll is not enough? Does it not fit the personal taste? ? ???

Expanding options is not an argument. You will not recieve an other result but making polls ridiculous.


If it doesn?t fit, just add some options and do it again until you recieve the result wanted. It?s pretty plain what the majority wants and therefore it?s time for the Eldar Champion to accept this. Most of us are no idiots and most really think about the option they vote for. Adding one or two options will not change this. :(

Hopefully I have misunderstood you and you are not planning to do this poll again. If it is so, I have to excuse myself, else read above.

The people have spoken on the CC2+ part, but personally, I still don't think that's good enough to get me to take them.  As Eldar Champion, if so many other people *do* think they're then worth taking, I'll put that up as the experimental change.

Personally, I've already made my choice, Chroma. 2+ CC. Another poll won't change my mind. It gives them a boost but not a massive one. As I said earlier, the Eldar don't need too much change to be broken. I found the stats Ginger put up enough to convince me that 2+ was enough.

I think that testing on the new statline needs to be done before another adjustment is implemented. Small steps is my favoured plan.

All lists have units that are less popular to take. The Eldar should be no exception IMO. It all comes down to personal taste. I'm not sure units should be written on the basis of "whether they do every job I ask of them".
