Revenant guns are the easiest (I have a template), but I do want to draw up a new phantom titan too (though I'd gladly let E&C beat me to it, because it would take me about a year to do).

I've little interest in modelling my own Eldar Titans. I'd help you out if you wanted to cast up a scratchbuild you made though.

I'm thinking along the lines of the Minervan list: a repository for the myriad IG tanks. Most people don't play with all the types and the list plays on just fine. The same thing would go for an Eldar Titan list; you don't need every model to make it work. Anyone playing an Eldar Titan clan will typically be a collector / hobby nut anyway.

But thinking past the model availability - you don't have to like every model out there. If you don't like the boxy titan then don't play with it, or better yet model up your own version of it. People are getting too bogged down on model availability. Given the creativity of this community, don't doubt that somebody will come up with a suitable proxy.

This leads me to the concept I had on the Magnate. I don't think it needs to be the focus of the list, but I think it will be a really fun thing to keep. Orks have mega-gargants. IG have Imperators. Eldar can have their Magnate (or whatever name it ends up being). You don't need to have an Imperator in every AMTL list and I would bet most lists go without them. Dittos with the Mega-Gargant.

I will try to model up something though before I make too big of a case for it. Usually that is how it works. Somebody makes a pretty model, everyone says "Ooooh, we need to put that in the list!", and the list suitably follows. I have all the parts I need for mine. It is just a matter of getting up early enough in the AM to assemble it...

The ancient Farseer creaks and crackles as he moves his wraithbone infused arms and begins to speak...

My thoughts on the Eldar is not that they go for "bigger is better", but they're more about finesse; perhaps instead of "big" Titans they have some more "savings" on Battle Titan formations that include more than one Titan. I experimented with a slight price drop for additional Titans in the initial release.

I'm not convinced every army needs the "same" toys, but I'm open to discussion.

Alright you fine folks that took the time to comment and advise, I've updated the list and posted in the OP.

Changes:
1) I added a Change Log =)
2) Removed Farseer Titan and Aspect Host.
3) Added Phantasm Titan, Specter Titan, Wraithlord Host, Spiritsinger.
4) Change Autarch and Exarch names.
5) Changed Guardian Formation.
6) Change Titan Weapons Tables

So maybe adding a larger Titan may not be the best thing for this list right now(or ever). So I deiced to try and add some variant flavor at least. I would use a Phantom to represent it with some odd tweaks here and there. I got the idea for the Phantasm Titan from the Ghostships in BFG. The Titan is not crewed by the living and therefore is a bit harder nut to crack as the Eldar souls operate the Titan while floating freely through its Wraithbone structure. However they can be a little harder to control as the Eldar Spirits can be restless. So I made the Amour better by 1 and made Criticals less effective on it. Too much? Maybe, so playtest it! But it does actives on 3+. Now you can add a Spiritsinger to help control the Titan, letting you re-roll your Initiative test.

As for the Specter Titan, it is based off the Robot Chicken Titan. I wanted to make whatever weapon it took to become Twin ie making it one pip better but I wasn't sure how to do that with the BP on the sonic lances.

So I keep trying to tailor the list to be more Titany than normal. So I canned the Aspect Host in favor of adding a Wraithlord Host. There like little baby Titans. I thought it be a bit fluffer? Eh?

Changed the names of Titan Characters. There still a working title but at least there better than Exarch right?

Guardians, I want to make more of a little support unit. That sits back and covers the rear. So I making them have more Platform weapons. I'm going to sit down and work on some stats for those soon, with Semajnollissor's help.

Change the Upgrades for the Titans a bit. I made it that only the Warlock can have a Wraithsinger (SC Char) and Phantoms are the only ones allowed to take Wraithgates. I figured it gave each Battle Titan a better role. Warlock as the Leader and ability to change the future ie Farsight ability. Phantasm is more of a heavy support role. Phantom could be the line Titan and help more smaller supporting troops to front with him.

Well that's the changes kids. Feel free to comment and playtest. I need to round up some Titans myself before I can really get into playtesting, and get some time from the family. But I may try and get a Vassal game in at least.

Please use a number to indicate the version of the list (in the file name, and in the title of the list).
It will be much more easy to follow the evolution of the list.

Why do all of the titans have access to a free upgrade?

Shouldn't the titan missile launchers be a part of the profile and the upgrade only on the DC6+ titans.#

Something like:

Enhanced shoulder mounts
Replace the titan missile launcher with one of the following:
twin linked missile launcher
twin linked star cannons
Firestorm battery

I would also remove spirit singer from the Phatasm 3+ with a reroll is about 89% chance to succeed.

Replace it wth a rule that makes the Phantasm ignore all BM penalties (activation rolls and engagements).

I planned on it if I started playtesting and updating. Which in till we see some playtest, I'm inclined not to mess with stuff. But I'm as guilty as the next for not playtesting.

The ML being Free was just how I broken it down and I'm sure it will be revamped at some point but as it stands now its a minor concern. As for the SpiritSinger, It might change to +1 to Activation or ignore BM.

I wouldn't worry too much about the names of things too much. Over time I believe a lot of these things will come to you. If you can't figure one out for now you can always just label it [really cool] Lance or whatever.

I am curious where you plan to model a Wraithgate on a titan. Between their legs? Besides being a bit risque' it sounds a bit unappealing. Also these titans are very elegant in their design and I think stylistically it would be out of place to put a gate on one of them.

A 'drop gate' would be more likely IMO.

Yeah, a gate molded into a vampire would be cool (and make tactical sense). The general vulnerability of a landed aircraft would balance the advantage that a planetfall gate would have.

I hadn't thought of a gate in a Vampire, but that sounds pretty cool actually. A few configurations come to mind - one built into the tail of the craft and another that would lie horizontally right in the middle of the Vampire (hollowing it out in a sense).

The wraithgate models from the licensed computer games, as well as the terrain ones from the design studio, share a lot of visual cues with titan wings, so that's always an option – the wraithgate could sit between (or replace) the titan's holofield generators.

Hmm, THAT would be interesting. Wraithgate replacing a holofield. Excellent modeling opportunities combined with tactical decisions. I like. I wonder how many people would bring a 750 point titan without the holofield if it had its own gate?

and how many guardians would want to jump out from between a titan's holofield wings? It's a big drop and casualties would be terrible :)

Also, it would be interesting to see some playtests of a titan borne wraithgate. If I were building a list I'd get a Phantom with a sword and fist and some token units (rangers, jetbikes). Assault with titan, win most likely, consolidate into support range of another target and retain with rangers/ jetbikes/ guardians whatever. That unit only has to survive to bring down 11 3+ (2 of them MW) support attacks from the Phantom. Almost guaranteed 2 wiped out units per turn for 900pts or less. I don't feel that any opponent I face would be particularly happy with me for doing that :)
