I would recommend using styrene card stock to cut custom bases.

Barring that, craft sticks - the ones that look like tongue depressors.  You can cut them to length with tin snips.  Give them a dust coat of primer (cheap-o DIY store stuff is fine) to seal the wood and superglue will stick to them just fine.  They take a moderate amount of work but it goes fast and they are dirt cheap - hundreds of bases for a few bucks in sticks and a couple for a can of primer.

Three jetbikes on the Warmaster base is the best.

I will probably go down the styrene card route, when I have some time and money, but there is no rush, as I already have lots of Jetbikes from the Space Marine era.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

3 on my Warmaster bases. It looks cooler that way. But really you can do whatever you like.

I am putting two warbikes on 20mm x 30mm Styrene bases. I cut off the rectangular molded bases to blend them better. I suspect you could do the same with jetbikes, and pin them to the base.

I did mine 2 on a 20x20 base, but after I ordered some custom 20x30 bases I wish I had waited. My Marine bikes will go on the 20x30.

20x40 was too hard to hide behind things (an Eldar trait!) and my 6- and 8-strong jetbike formations often spilled out into the open in places I didnt want!

i cut out 20x40 pieces of material and mounted two bikes per base. i've yet to play enough to discover whether or not that's a liability.

It won't be a liability if you put the models at either end of the bases. Remember that measurements are made at the model not the base.

No, those dont look good at all. I think you need to get rid of them asap. Email me for my shipping address please, and shed the guilt you must be suffering!

They do look very good, but for someone of my limited modelling skills, that's just far too complicated, so a more conventional approach is simply more suitable for me I'm afraid.

I think three to a Warmaster base would still look pretty good even without the scenic niceties (or Ratty's fabulous painting skills). Not as nice, sure, but it would work.
