Also i have to agree with ya'll,,, If you play revenants right, they don't get killed very easily, but if you stick them in the open,, they do seem to die.
Have to agree here, and that's how revenants are supposed to be. They are Eldar scout titans. They're not supposed to be tough.
YUP.. i watched my newbie player who had only two games underneath him use two revanents with Yme-loc list.. he stuck them out in the open and my orks opened fire with barrage templates from the two oddboyz i had grouped together. it was quite nasty.. one didn't save and blew up with the amount of fire power i had. Also, the same can be said for using a Warlock.
In another game, Beal tan vs Steel Legion, my custom reaver (two gatling blasters and a quake cannon using the points from E&C's list). Never the less the Warlock was equipped with psi lance and PF. He then proceeded to keep the warlock in the back and rarely move it. Then in an audacious move my valkries and storm troops went to help in a firefight after my reaver tore into it when it got too close and gave it a few problems, like destroying the wing holofield generators... it fought for its life then went down to 2 DC when it was only making a 5+ armor save. Lesson... use titans how they are equipped.. I warned my friend for two turns that he should have assaulted me by now with that warlock of death. and instead the guard and Reaver tore it to shreds because it was not used right.
