GlynG, glad to see that your interest hasn't waned.  You have a strong foundation for a great supplement and I'd love to see it come to fruition.  

One thing I thought of immediately, however, is that you should not limit yourself to three armies.  Yes, Raiders and Siege (and the official books) all have three armies, but there is nothing preventing you from having four or two.  Ultimately three armies may be the best thing, but you aren't required to have three.

And Epic: Fringe sounds really cool.  So are you and semajnollissor going to work on this together?

I was wondering if Exodites, Tyranids and Tau would be of wider intrest/use, but it would also rely on the nid and tau lists to be finished.
(For some reason i don't see the exodites being as devisive   )

Final random thought, flying dinosaurs ¬= flyers, too slow compared to jet aircraft.

I’m working on it... once real life stuff is out of the way (just the last essay l need to finish now) I plan to a). get back into regularly playing epic and playtesting and battle-reporting here generally and b). work on this list and get a first draft posted up as soon as it’s in good enough shape to and I’ve tested it out a few times, and then we can get proper testing and discussion going. Be patient with me and I'll come up with the goods I promise!

So... is anything happening with this?

I'm making progress on real world things and epic things but this project is still a while away, it's not forgotten though don't worry.

I finished my several months overdue essay at long last at the start of the month and have been catching up with a massive backlog of stuff to do and seeing some old friends before they forget I exist. I've been asking for advice here and elsewhere on making a games table for my room, which I'm hoping to get in the next few weeks, which'll mean I'll be able to game more. I want to play and playtest a load of epic with many different races (I'm still newlyish back to the game after a long gap) to get a good grounding and experience for my Exodite ideas.

No worries! I'm just somewhat interested in what could come out of this, that's all
