A week ago I made some unfounded accusations at TRCs expense, mostly in relation to his "# Aces" threads. A direct result of my post was the closure of a thread and the inadvertant censure of a valuable discussion, something I did not forsee and something I would never want to happen, much less cause. TRC replied to my post via PM, appropriatley "heated," then a few days later PMd me again with a more measured reply. However, since my accusations were public, I feel my apoligy should be public as well. In short, TRC, I'm sorry for being a "Lemon." (Being from the far side of the pond, I'm not so sure how "Lemon" works as an insult, I'll assume it was not a compliment.) I still believe that compromise and testing are the best ways to get to where we are going, and I consider the new, improved Scorpoinfish as an example of this. I proposed the VLM with a very strong concept of having the Tracers being "One-Shot", but I gave up on that due to many objections, and I think we are all happier with the unit without it, I know I am. Sure, its not done, but it came a long way in a short time because we compromised. Which makes my recent behavior all the more stupid because the hard feelings it generated are very likley to prevent individuals from being able to see others view points and, in turn, to use those insights to compromise. So, again, I apologize to TRC and to everyone else. CS, if you could please, sticky this for a few days, I want to be sure everyone gets to read my "mea culpa." Now I'm going to bed, and I'm going out of town to play some Epic this weekend (Yay!) and I'll have a 4.4 Batrep for you all next week. Probablly against Black Legion. |

No worries, I'm far more obstreperous. I need a little label on the log in screen saying 'Remember - they are toy soldiers, toy soldiers  I'm not sure what caling someone a lemon exactly means, but as it was conditional on you calling a shadowsword a space marine I think you have no basis to be compared to any sort of citrus fruit. Sorry again. |
