Turn 2
A fiery image of death and destruction appears as the Farseer of the Protectors of Fate activates a hologram of the Avatar near her position.
In quick response, the fractured images of the Stealth Suits appear, forming an extended picket line in front of the massed Tau army.
Strategy Roll: Ulthw?
Trying to make up for their initial poor showing, the tanks of Quick Death advance, popping up to fire on the Ion Cannon Hammerheads, immobilizing one of them.
Pouncing on their weakend prey, the Dreamslayers flicker between warp and reality as they lay waste to the remnants of Sha'is'Ka, completely eliminating them from the exercise, and then jumping forward to get near the bulk of the enemy.
The Farseer of the Protectors calls on the Avatar and the Bringers of Woe to engage the Stealthsuits, who are also commingled with the Stingrays, Crisis Cadre, Railgun Hammerheads, and the Shas'O's Fire Warrior Cadre! ?The Stealthsuit jetpack forward to try to slow the blood-dripping behemoth that is the Avatar, but it plows into two of them. ?The rest of the Tau also advance in a meagre attempt to bring more close range weapons to bear on the pressing Eldar. ?The firststrike of the Stealth suits is damaging, but not enough to stem the Eldar tide; Five Stealth suits are "killed" along with a Crisis suit, while only 2 Weapon platforms, a Wraithguard, and the Farseer who led them are taken out of action. ?The Eldar's fierce charge is too much for the Tau and the heart of their army breaks, scattering to the various corners of the battlefield, constrained by the Eldar, who follow after them.
Resolute despite seeing most of his army in tatters, the Sha'vre of Kais'Korst'la doubles to bring the Winterhawks into line of sight and eliminates the Firestorm.
Seeing the havoc wreaked by the Warp Spiders, the Pathfinders advance on them; sniping the Exarch who shrieks and waves her power blades at them.
The remaining Falcons of the Winterhawks marshal, popping up to fire on the Fire Warrior Cadre, disabling another Devilfish and two Fire Warriors.
Distracted by all the running Tau, the Fire Prisms of Beautiful Rain of Fire move forward without firing.
Seeing the Broadsides caught in a crossfire, the Eldar Rangers advance on the heavy weapon units eliminating one of them and breaking the unit.
Final Response makes a final response as they race forward to engage the shattered Fire Warrior Cadre, the conflict is vicious, but brief, as the entire Cadre is put out of action.
Viewing the flashing red on his hardwired battlestats display and seeing that he has only one formation left still in active condition, while the Eldar still have more units in reserve, the Shas'O taps out a full channel command he never thought he'd give: "All units Full Surrender. ?Full Surrender? for the Greater Good!"
End of Turn: Tau 0 (none) vs Ulthw? 4 (Blitzkrieg, BTS, Take and Hold, They Shall Not Pass)
