Post subject:  Why don't formations match pack sizes?
This has come up various times but it never seems to have resulted in much. Firewarriors come 5 bases to a pack, devilfish and hammerheads 3 to a pack and so on. Why aren't formations built around this?

Thats a very old GW argument.

I remember back in the day ratling snipers could only be bought as a squad of 5 and in a blister you only got 4.  :disagree:

They originally did, but then they had a price increase/size decrease and they were dropped to 4 for awhile. Would have been about '97 I think pre 3rd ed, in the older style black/yellow blisterpacks.
