I had a look back at all the reports in the 5.1 playtest sticky.  Since we have reached the "end" of the proposed playtest period I thought it might be worth looking at the results.

The Tau's record is 21 games played, 8 wins, 13 losses.

Of those wins..

One was Honda playing his son in a limited points game. (2-0)
One was Hena crushing speed freaks. (3-0)
One was Hena narrowly beating IG. (2-0)
One was Assariel versus Tyranids. (3-0)
One had no batrep no mention of score nor opponent.
One was Asauras "Recon Horde" versus IG (0-0, points victory)
And two were my "On Tau" army versus Marines. (0-0, points victory) & (2-0)

In my hands generally badly  

Add two more Tau 5.1 games.

Tau vs. IG Steel Legion = 4th turn victory for Tau (1575 points to 1050 points)
Tau vs. Black Legion = 3rd turn victory for Tau (2-1, Take n' Hold + Blitz for Tau, Blitz for BL)
