Ok, CS and I want to keep you appraised of the status of the list and possibly head off lots of questions.
So the way this will work is that we will update this thread with the current status. As we progress, we'll post the status changes here.
So, to get everyone on the same page and save you from having to read through a number of threads, the progression to release will go like this:
1. Consolidate edits
2. Update list
3. Submit for Peer review
4. Final edits
5. Release for testing
Current status: We are at Step 2. The original target was Monday-ish to complete this step, but it is now looking like Tuesday-ish and maybe Wednesday-ish (I think I'm having a little too much fun with this ÂÂ
)Once we are at Step 3, the Peer review will take approximately 4-7 days. Step 4 should take less than a day and then we're good to release. If we can stick pretty close to that schedule, then we are looking at a release for this weekend, otherwise early to mid-next week.
If I was going to bet (which I don't), then I would say we're looking to be on track for mid-next week. It could be earlier, but that's my gut feeling at this point.
We'll strive to keep the team updated on a frequent basis, but I also don't want to waste your time with "Hey, we're still thinking about you guys" postings.
So hang in there, we are making progress.
