Okay, here's a stab at a new version of the rule for Support Craft.

"Support craft remain high up in the air, this means they can always draw a line of fire to any target behind - but not to targets more than 10cm within - terrain and vice versa. They also never block LOF to other units, including other support craft. They ignore terrain when moving and never count as being in cover, nor can they provide cover for friendly troops, as they are too far away from the ground. In an assault, they work exactly like skimmers."

I think that goes at odds with your own signiture.

"Support Craft count as Skimmers which are always popped up" looks pretty simple to me.

E&C - It might look simple to you on paper but it will not play simple in-game.

If I had to choose I would still prefer the existing rule (can hit anything - anything can hit it).

I agree with Onyx. It's simple and there's never any doubt as to where you stand. It also helps balance out would could easily be a very overpowering unit.

I have yet to meet a Shadowsword that doen't have at least one Moray kill marking on it's barrel.

Which is very impressive considering it would take on average more than three to kill it in one turn. Other stuff with massed AT fire is a better option due tot he current odd deflector shield rule.
