OK. As far as I can tell, here are the various proposals for the Skyray (I apologise for any mistakes that may have crept in - please let me know and I will correct them).
Thanks.

Doh!
I was thinking that the shot was already AA5+ and 2xAA6+ wasn't really an improvement.
From a strictly game-balance perspective I favor CS's version, but leave the MLs. However, I thought that the non-AA missile was part of the 40K armament. Unless that's wrong, I don't think we should cut it. Simply adding the second AA shot and not cutting the other missile would definitely make it worth playtesting at 75 points.
I think the MLs do make a certain kind of Tau sense. This is a support unit and could be used for close support of frontline troops. It certainly seems Tau-ish to design it for multiple possible roles as their flexible, almost modular, organization might send it forward from time to time.

CS,
One more for the mix:
75 points
Weapon Range Firepower Notes Smart Missile System 30cm AP4+ Ignore Cover 2x Hunter Missiles 75cm AT6+/AA6+ Guided Missiles Seeker Missiles 75cm AT6+ Guided Missiles Notes: Skimmer, Markerlights
This does the minmal amount to change the model. It gives it another hunter shot and keeps the points [EDIT: the same]. It avoids making the model something its not - better than a hammerhead or eliminating the markers. And it avoids making the markers useless. It avoids new naming conventions while giving a minor encouragement to enhance its primary use - marked AT and AA firepower.
Basically, its a KISS approach to make its [EDIT: cost justified] and make its damage potential what feels right in comparison to other like chassis models.
Well, to me anyway.
Cheers,

My suggestion..
TAU SKYRAY AIR DEFENCE GUNSHIP Type Speed Armour Close Combat Firefight Armoured Vehicle 30cm 4+ 6+ 6+ Weapon Range Firepower Notes 2x Hunter Missiles 75cm AT6+/AA5+ Guided Missiles Notes: Skimmer, Markerlights
75 Points.
Reasoning as per the earlier discussion in this thread.

Quote (Tactica @ 18 Nov. 2005 (18:08)) | 50 points
Weapon Range Firepower Notes Smart Missile System 30cm AP4+ Ignore Cover 2x Hunter Missiles 75cm AT6+/AA6+ Guided Missiles Seeker Missiles 75cm AT6+ Guided Missiles Notes: Skimmer, Markerlights | Statwise, looking good.
With the flak firepower doubled even without MLs, this thing is a noticeably better flak tank than the IC Hammerhead.
On Sustained Fire against a marked target, this has more AT firepower than a Rail-head. In any other case, the Rail-head wins. This is ok, I think.
Keeping the markerlights seems desirable, since the model itself has those, doesn't it?
One thing we don't want to do is lose the Seeker. Every Devilfish chassis vehicle has one, and keeping track of some exceptions would be a PITA.
I'd pay 75 points for this thing. It's about equal to a SM Hunter and seems to be markedly better than the IG Hydra.

Asaura, good point about hydra... I'd pay 75 points for it too.
If tested, I'd agree for a 75 point version. I shouldn't have adjusted the points down.
I'll edit my suggestion - as I fully agree.

yeah, I like that edited version. I feel it might be a *teeny* bit too good (if you're going for 2x hunters, maybe we should take out the chassis seeker missiles), but you guys are more experienced at this kind of thing so I'm prepared to agree.
