I quiet agree Hena. Those vehicles can't really be proxied.
But the other ones wouldn't even be proxied really.

I think my entire army cost me somewhere in the vicinity of $250 pounds. In the wash up it pretty much cost just over what a 2000 point 40K army may have cost me. Heck my Epic Eldar cost $200-ish Canadian (bought it from Canadian GW HQ). It's all about what you are prepared to pay for an army.

I saved by putting 2 crisis to a base and getting my barracudas off ebay (paid same cost for planes plus shipping from UK).

I used DRM Kraytonians as proxies for my Kroot and also used DRM for my Human Auxilliary.

Finding some old blisters of 6mm Crusader Infantry, from Alternative Armies was the start of my Tau army. I use them as my FireWarriors.

My Tau army is the most expensive army I've ever owned... Maybe that's why I'm so protective of the units in the list...

How do you find the 6mm Crusader Infantry next to the DRM stuff?  People keep saying they're too big-- are they?  I've only ever seen them by themselves and have never had a chance to compare them with other stuff.  And since they're available through 15mm.co.uk, it'd be nice to know if they really are too big.

They are slightly bigger but they're not ever mounted on the same bases so it really doesn't matter. The DRM minis are also a bit bigger than the ForgeWorld ones.
It all doesn't really matter to me.
They look the part during the game and thats all I care about   .

What proxies on Tau infantery are there?
Couldn't that be a separate and pinned thread here?

As for vehicles it's hard to proxy away from Forge World, but infantry...

So, what Tau proxy infantry is there?
